General Flower Care:

• Use Luke warm water in a vase. Add ½ a package of floral preservative in vase (do not use for tulips).
• Fresh cut stems on a slight angle work best.
• Change water daily. Wash out the vase with a solution of Natures Bleach and water. This will kill any bacteria that may be present inside.
• Re-cut the stems of your flowers daily.
• Keep flowers in a cool place away from direct sunlight and fruit, as fruit produces ethylene gas that will cause flowers to die.

Rose Care:

• Follow general flower care.
• Cut the stems of your roses in a sink filled with Luke warm water. Ensure that the end of the stem is submerged under water.  This prevents air from traveling up the stem and getting trapped, causing the head to wilt.
• If the head of the rose is starting to look soft or beginning to wilt, re-cut the stems as stated previously. Float roses on water for a few hours or overnight to help firm the heads.

Meaning of Colors:

Red: Love, passion, and romance.

Deep Red:  Respect and admiration.

Dark Pink: Appreciation.

Light Pink: Happiness, young first love.

Purple, Lavender: Passion, dedication, sacred.

Peach, Orange: Excitement or Desire.

Yellow: Friendship, joy, hope, new beginnings.
